In-Situ Testing

In-situ techniques are popular because of the limitations of many laboratory techniques Usually, in-situ test are performed to evaluate the liquefaction potential of a soil deposit before the improvement was attempted.

With the knowledge of the existing ground characteristics, one can specify a necessary level of improvement in terms of in-situ test parameters.



CME-45C

The CME-45C is a versatile lightweight Skid-Mounted Drill That is used for Exploratory Borings. It can handle handl conventional (CORE DRILLING) to over 400ft., Hallow-Auger from 75ft. to 150 ft., Penetration and Sampling tools, and can be converted to Static Cone Penetrometer for soft grounds.



PRESSUREMETER

A PRESSUREMETER TEST is an In-Situ Stress Controlled Loading Test Performed on the wall of a borehole using cylindrical probe which can expand radially

From the test readings a Stress-Strain can be obtained which yields

- The Menard Pressuremeter Modules
- The Creep Pressure
- The Menard LImit Pressure
- The Volume and Pressure Calibration

Has been performed on each test.
